Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving this year.  We had the pleasure of hosting Jeff's parents, Jim and Judy as well as our good friends Craig, Sue, and Turner Cornett and Dave, Halli, Jo, and Koty Fossaceca.

The meal turned out excellent and my turkey brining paid off.  Judy even helped me make wine charms before dinner.  I couldn't have asked for a nicer time.

Don't Ever put an unfrozen chicken in your ice cream maker and then try to take it out 1/2 hr before desert.  My attempts on making ginger ice cream totally failed and nothing would get that chicken out!

what jeff's summer looked like

A summer of hardwork and lots to show...the stonework took Jeff and his two guys 9 weeks, not counting the time it took to collect the rock, and sort it.

See the moon?  We live on Moon Gulch.
(white stripe is missing piece of trim board that we ran out of and they no longer manufacture-ugh!)

The moon is made from quartz rock and so is the vein which goes across the window

Here is the rock all laid out before it was put up.

Pumpkins!

We went to a pumpkin farm this weekend. Eva loved the farm animals, even when the goat tried to eat her hat.

Eva loved picking out the pumpkins.

and could even pick up a few of them.

Best of all she loved riding in the wagon.

Jeff left mysteriously one morning and came back with this great jungle gym for

eva.

Eva loves the swing.

She loves going down the slide, with a little help.

And has no problem climbing up the ladder herself.
